Most of us have heard of the Lizzie Borden axe-murder, right? There have been specials, television shows, and paranormal investigations done on it numerous times. While no one ever was convicted of this murder, to this day most are lead to believe that Lizzie Borden murdered her father and step-mother in cold blood.

It was normal day on August 4, 1892 in Fall River, Massachusetts. Andrew Borden had just returned home from his rounds at 10:45 am.  He had decided to take a short nap, but little did he know that he would never awake again. He was hacked by a hatchet. He suffered from numerous blows to his head. He was not recognizable any longer, and it is said that his eyeball little lay on his cheek.

 

Upstairs Abby Borden was found face down on the floor. She had been axed to death as well. She had numerous blows done to her head.


Lizzie had run to their maid, and said that her father had been murdered. Everyone say that she was emotionless and calm about all the whole thing.

A hatchet was found in the basement with the end broken off. And there was even a report of her burning a blue dress of hers a few days after the murder took place.

 

Lizzie Borden was arrested and tried. Despite incriminating evidence and testimony presented by the prosecution, Lizzie was acquitted on June 20, 1893, after the jury deliberated only an hour and a half.

 

If Lizzie DID murder her parents… she got away with it.

Paranormal Investigation teams go into the Borden house which still stands today. It is now a Bed and Breakfast and holds tours. They say when you go into the guest bedroom where Abby was murdered and you hold a thermal camera up… you can see a body on the floor where she had been killed. Cameras left to survey areas will be moved by the unseen. Class A EVPs are captured regularly, and things will move on their own in the house.

Recently on Ghost Adventures they brought mediums into the house before their lock down was over. They held an EVP session. The one medium was apparently communicating with Andrew Borden. They said Lizzie killed them. But the newest information given was his “secret”. The medium said that Andrew was having an affair with his own daughter. And that he wanted her all to himself. His spirit soon became angered, affected Nick and Zak, and called the medium a “dirty w***e” on EVP.

Do you think Lizzie did it?  If you do think she did, do you think it was because of her father wanting her that way? 

This will forever remain one of the top unsolved murders.

My uncle passed away 7 years ago, since then we’ve always felt that he was watching over us.

Four nights ago I rented “Devil” and watched it with my aunt. It’s a good movie. The next day we heard a crashing sound, but couldn’t figure out what it was. When we did, we both paused. Her crucified Jesus that has been hanging in the hallway since she moved in had fallen. Two of the nails are missing and we don’t know where they went. The nail that held it is still in place.

Last night I had woken up after a bad headache all day, I had a strong urge to lock the doors. Where my aunt lives, my cousin and brother are next door on opposite sides. I figured I was just overreacting to it being dark outside and being by myself in the trailer. Not even five minutes later I felt like there was someone walking in the back bedroom where we are fixing a couple holes in the wall. I ignored it, figuring it was the cats. I heard a crash - it shook me - but again I figured it was the cats being nosy.
We know that the closet door was shut completely. The sound I heard was loud enough that I thought the closet door had fallen off and everything inside had fallen out. When my aunt went back to look at the progress, I hadn’t said a word at this point, there was a box that was set aside perfectly next to a pile we had made. Nothing else was out of the closet.

Oh boy! That really sounds creepy. Has anything like that happened before to you? I hope you’re all okay. It sounds like you have a malicious entity on your hands. Don’t be afraid, but don’t provoke it. Let it know that you know it’s there and that you don’t want it doing those things. Be confident when saying. :) Let me know if anything else happens!

My mom and step dad went to Savannah,Ga for there anniversary while they were there my mom was taking photos on their ghost tour if you look in the window there is a women standing there with no face… that is the SAME window that the girl is said to of been thrown from by her husband at a young age,after being caught trying to run away with a young soldier. 

I know I’m not the only one out there who feels they have a “sixth sense”.  I can definitely sense when something is there or if something happened in an area. I even see them sometimes.

For example: Tonight - I was watching a show called The Dead Files earlier. It was a brand new episode that I had never seen before. The episode started the woman who owned the home that they were going to investigate was a doll collector. It panned to a shot of all her dolls, and I personally got creeped out. I have always felt that way about porcelain dolls (my grandmother collected them too). Well, these thoughts came into my head about how I found them creepy and why I thought they were. I always thought that spirits and demons resided in a lot of dolls. (One night staying at a friends who was being tormented by a spirit. I made her take a doll out of the house and things got better.) When the medium went through the house she began to talk about all of the dolls and how dolls were originally believed to be vessels to the dead because they didn’t have “souls” in them already. This had freaked me out because I had NEVER heard anyone say this before. And Native Americans were referred to a few times in this episode, and before they were spoken of I had thoughts of them flash through my mind.

These are just a few more reasons why I think I may have medium like abilities.
